We are grateful to only be about two hours distance from New Hampshire Grandparents and Vermont Aunt, Uncle and Cousins.
Our August visit included a day at the lake with Grandparents.
Jason favored his guitar over sand toys.
And Sophia loved a mermaid floating ring gifted to her by Grammie.
All three kids enjoyed spending the day in the water, having a picnic, and napping on the sand.
This year we drove up to Hanover, the home where Joshua grew up, for Jason's 3rd birthday.
We brought with us the Pinata that was used as a decoration at Jason's adoption party.
It was a good kid:candy ratio.
There was also some badminton playing.
And the opening of very thoughtful gifts, including a remote control car from his Aunt & Uncle & Cousins.
And Penguins (the stuffed animal he sleeps with every night) painted by his Great Grandma.
The next day he got to pick Blueberries with his Great Grandpa (& Aunt, Uncle, Cousins, Grandparents, Mom, Dad, and Sisters).
And Grammie also left a few beans in her garden so that Sophia could pick them.
