New Hampshire Summer Trips

The Archambault Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins all got to spend 4th of July together in New Hampshire this year before three went off for their first days of college.

More than the fireworks, my favorite parts were grandparents coloring and train building,

nieces and nephews having one on one time with their Aunts and Uncles,

cousins playing together

and Jason's delighted reaction to the arcade tickets.

A few weeks later we returned to New Hampshire for family camp.

There were familiar activities like archery

And a few unexpected ones:

Archambault-Wegrzyn Vacation 2021

The adventure began with hot dog roasting in Rob and Di's backyard.

Our family was gifted our first set of Encyclopedia Britannica's which Sophia and Jason got to unwrap and sort into portable bookcases Rob made for them.

There was just enough time for a lake swim before we got back on the road.

When we arrived at the house one of the first discoveries was raspberries in the yard.

We returned to the Berkshires of Massachusetts, just a few towns from the site of our first joint family vacation when Charlie and Sophia were the only babies.
Except this time there were three 8 year olds, a 5 year old, a 4 year old, a 3 year old, three 2 year olds, and a 1 year old.

In addition to the raspberries, other special features of this year were:

Hiking

Swimming

Biking

Al fresco Dining

Ice Cream with Goats

 and Waffles with Sprinkles.

But my favorite part of four days with two of our best friends was witnessing the friendships of our children deepen.

Little J-Man Turns 5!

Dear J-Man, Happy 5th Birthday! Does this make you a BIG kid?  You love bouncing off the  walls, just like your favorite superhero, Spider-M...
