Skin Care

The only thing I typically put on my face in the morning is a pair of glasses; and I don't routinely carry a purse or wear jewelry besides my wedding ring.

Thus Sophia will have to rely on her Gran for make up and accessory advice. 

Aunt Hazel has already laid claim to buying her first tube of lipstick.

Gran and Sophia had a practice session for step one, moisturizer application:

Last year we came to the Berkshires with two babies, but this year it was quite clear that we had two toddlers in tow. Many of the same activities were enjoyed however on the "2nd Annual Archambault-Wegrzyn Family Vacation".

...and reading books.

Wingaersheek Beach

On the last official Saturday of Summer we met our friends the Sotelos and Wegrzyns at Wingaersheek Beach in Gloucester, MA. It is directly across from the Yacht club where Josh worked in college.

The water was the perfect depth for toddler legs.

Josh wore the hat my Dad used to wear when we went to the beach.

Sophia worked on her drip technique for future Sand Castle construction.

While  Charlie and Sofia took a beach stroll chaperoned by their parents.

hi.

Sophia currently uses three words.

In order of first appearance, they are "Mama", "Dada", and "hi".

She also communicates through pointing, nodding, signing for 'more' and smiling, scowling or outright crying.

However, if you aren't her Mom or Dad, and she doesn't greet you with a "hi", it is unlikely that you will presently be spoken to with a word you understand.

A more rare occurrence is a kiss being blown. These are often reserved for her Dad.
